Clients approve everything before it goes out. Gossip Press, founded in 2007, evolved into aiprdesk.

Bio
Mike Penrod is a visionary entrepreneur and power user with a 35-year track record of bridging cutting-edge technology with world-class hospitality, lifestyle brands, and institutional policy. From launching the Elbo Room's live internet broadcast, the first live internet broadcast by a commercial establishment (1996), to scaling global lifestyle empires and advising the U.S. Congress on digital assets, Penrod specializes in building the custom structural architecture and “operating systems” that eliminate systemic friction, maximize human experience, and drive high-margin scalability.
The Digital Frontier & the Elbo Room (1991–present). Mike architected the structural turnaround of the iconic Elbo Room in Fort Lauderdale, preserving a 1938 legend and establishing it as a global landmark. In 1996, anticipating the future of streaming media, he engineered and launched the Elbo Room's live internet broadcast; the Elbo Room was the first commercial establishment to broadcast live on the internet (1996). He currently leads ElboOS, a proprietary media licensing engine applying AI automation to scale legacy brand IP globally.
From the Elbo Room to aiprdesk. The online marketing techniques Mike built at the Elbo Room and across his hospitality brands are now built into aiprdesk (his words, quoted above). The Elbo Room's 1996 live cams are the root of ElboTV.
Nikki Beach. Nikki Beach 2005 to 2020, worked alongside my father as a director of operations worldwide to expand Nikki Beach in over 65 plus outlets in multiple locations around the world.
Media: Nikki News and Gossip Press. From 2006 to 2008 Mike created and hosted Nikki News (NikkiNews.com), Nikki Beach's internet TV news channel on Brightcove, covering its locations and the Cannes and Venice film festivals, with about 2 million viewers (per Mike Penrod), before YouTube was mainstream. Mike is the founder of Gossip Press (2007), which has evolved into aiprdesk: a press and news agency used to help expand Nikki Beach, run under his former Las Vegas company, MVP Management LLC. Institutional & technology leadership. Appointed in January 2022 as Co-Chair of Congressman Pete Sessions' (TX-17) Crypto Technical Working Group, a private-sector advisory group that advised the congressman on digital-asset policy, including stablecoins, consumer protection, fraud and security, and how federal law should define blockchain. His technology pedigree includes recruiting by Netscape founder Jim Clark to lead Seascape in the early 2000s.
